September is always a busy month for our family with school starting and two birthdays just two days apart.
Katelyn turned 6 on the 6th and had a makeover party at Kate's Sassy Salon. We did manicures, makeup, and took glamour shots. The girls also walked down the "runway" in fashions that they designed. They had such a great time receiving their makovers and took home a cute little purse full of "girl's necessities". Kate also started Kindergarten this year. She has been counting down the days and finally got there. She has a great teacher and loves school.

Clark turned 8 this year on the 8th and had a Saturday morning pajama birthday party complete with eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns and video game tournaments. Games included a pillowcase hop relay, sliding sleeping bags down the stairs, teeth brushing, cheerios munching, and hair combing. The following Saturday was Clark's baptism and it was such an exciting day. He was so happy to be baptized and has been looking forward to it. It was a special day and Mom can't believe that her "little baby" is baptized. (Obviously there were some tears shed on Mom's part)

Jacob started preschool as well and is so excited to play with his friends and learn his letters and draw. He goes to school twice a week for 5 hours and loves every minute of it. He also played Soccer on a base team and had an "all right" time. About halfway through each practice, he would have a water break, sit down, and say, "I quit!" Then when the coach had them dribbling and kicking goals he was back up with the best of them. I don't know if sports are in his future.

Carlee is probably the busiest of all. Not only does she run errands, help clean the house, go shopping or out to lunch with friends, and help Mom with her fun hobbies, but she is learning to walk and say new words, put shapes in the correct holes, point to facial features, dance to music, and read stories.
