The Allred cousins came through on their way to San Diego and dropped off Chewy, their dog, for us to dog-sit for the week. Chewy became their pet when Grandpa and Grandma left on their mission. He is a pretty relaxed dog and we had no trouble at all watching him. Carlee and Jake especially loved taking him on walks around the block and Kate and Carlee loved to add accessories to his wardrobe. Chewy loved to snuggle up on the folded laundry on the couch or slide in right next to me when we were watching TV. He never barked or whined and was happy just hanging out at our house for the week. Clark was a bit disappointed to miss out on the dog responsibilities since he was at Scout Camp the whole time.

When the cousins came back, they spent Friday night and Saturday with us. We hit U-Swirl right when they got into town on Friday night and stayed up late watching the Olympics and hearing about their trip. Saturday morning, we waited for Clark to get home from scout camp, clean up, and then headed downtown to visit Pawn Stars, Caesar's Palace, the Bellagio conservatory and fountains, and took them to lunch at the kids' newest favorite restaurant, Max Brenner. Then we came back for swimming and watching more Olympics at home. We had a wonderful weekend with them and love it when they come visit.
After checking out the infamous pawn shop, we were starving and headed over to Max Brenner.
The servers here are AMAZING with helping the kids enjoy their chocolate
(and they didn't even mind that our kids stood up to eat the fondue)!
Checking out the seasonal changes at the Bellagio Conservatory is one of my favorite things to do.
Jayne, Katelyn, and Nathan.
Kate and Jayne are actually the same age (few months apart) but not the same in height ;)
