Well, we have officially left San Antonio and started on our next adventure. We left last Tuesday after scrubbing the house clean, packing the cars completely full, donating perishable goods to sweet friends, cleaning up the yard, and walking through bedrooms saying goodbye to our first home. The kids were a little sad and eyes filled with tears as we drove away from San Antonio. We thank all of the good friends we have met there and shared good times with. We know our paths will cross again and we have been blessed by knowing you. Some friends we get to take with us and others we will see again. Thank you for the examples and influence you have been on our family. Anytime you want to visit us in Fabulous Las Vegas, you are more than welcome.
Road Trip Details:
Tuesday--Got to El Paso at 12:30 a.m. and stayed with "the cousins"
Wednesday--Played and swam with "the cousins"; left about 3:30 p.m. in the middle of a huge rainstorm and flooded roads; Got to Surprise, AZ about 9:30 p.m. and stayed in the Hampton Inn
Thursday--Drove to Las Vegas and started looking at homes at 1:00 p.m. ; Found a great one about 4:30 p.m. and decided it was the one. Looked at 2 more homes, had dinner with friends, and continued to St. George, UT to stay with my sister
Friday--Played with Uncle Jim, Aunt Steph, Tyler, and Madi at Jumpin' Jacks, lunch at Applebee's, ran a few errands--Lowe's, craft stores, swimming and good night's sleep
Saturday--Left about 12:00 for Utah. Stopped at Grandma and Grandpa Holt's about 4:00 to say hi to everybody and continued on to Grandma and Grandpa Stuart's
