#2--Going on a lunch date with Mom to Cafe Rio, her favorite restaurant, and a shopping trip to Costco
#3--Doing whatever she wants in the afternoon and patiently waiting for family members to get home
#4--Grabbing dinner from McDonald's to eat in the car
#5--Attending the Live Nativity with the Swasey family
#6--Going ice skating
#7--Opening presents at home
#8--Enjoying the princess cake that she picked out and ice cream
#9--Going to bed as a happy new 6-year-old sweetheart
My beautiful 6-year-old as she first woke up on her birthday and came in to say hello
Carlee absolutely loves going ice skating so when given the choice of her birthday activity, that was it!
She patiently waited all day to open her presents. And they were ready for her when we got back from ice skating along with a big box on the front porch that arrived just in time.
I ordered her an art easel and she was so excited! Drawing, painting, and coloring is all she wants to do all afternoon.

She really wanted this cake from our Costco trip this afternoon. It's become our tradition that Carlee gets to pick out her own cake. She loves it!
Blowing out those tricky candles. They are my favorite. My kids laugh so hard when they re-light.
