Amber, our beautiful narrator

Clara, our glamorous Mary

Our handsome shepherds, Clark and Mitchell

Our lovely angel, Carlee

Our three wisepeople, Nedra, Jake, and Katelyn

What's a Mary without a donkey?

Then we decorated sugar cookies to leave out for Santa.

It was such a fun night and when we got home, we opened our Christmas pj's, read our stories, and went to bed. The kids were especially good about going to bed because Clark was insistent that they go to sleep fast so that Santa would come sooner than later. They were all asleep within the hour.
The next morning, the kids woke up at 6:30 and Clark looked out the window to see if there were any reindeer tracks in our dirt. He saw a car parked in our driveway and yelled, "What's Grandma and Grandpa's car doing here? Hey, are you guys here?" My parents crept out of the guest room and surprised the kids on Christmas morning. The kids ran downstairs and into the family room to see if Santa Claus had visited our house. And he definitely came.
Carlee got her pink car
I got my camera lenses so there are no pictures of me
because I'm using them
and
Grandma and Grandpa even got tickets to dinner
and a Las Vegas show

Needless to say, we must have been very good this year because Santa sure spoiled us.
We spent the day in our pajamas playing with everything over and over again. The boys got a sports net and some new balls so they were outside most of the day. The girls got doll stuff, a foot spa, and some new hair barrettes so they spent the day pampering themselves when Carlee wasn't "checking on her car" or turning on its radio to dance while driving. It was such a fun day to just hang out and play. The perfect Christmas!
