Joe had to work Memorial Weekend in Arizona so we headed there with him on Friday night. Saturday morning we ate breakfast, went swimming in the hotel, got ready for the day and made another trip to visit Oatman. The kids love going there to feed the burros, eat ice cream, and walk through the western town.

| Some of the baby burros were laying down in the street and Carlee kept saying they were dead |
While we were there, the town had their Memorial Day celebration where a cowboy sang the National Anthem and the preacher said a prayer in remembrance of those that have passed. They also had a real public gunshot wedding in the street where a couple renewed their vows after 15 years of marriage.

After the vow renewal, we watched a cowboy shoot-out in the streets. It was a silly play but the kids enjoyed it and covered their ears when the guns were shot and the bad guy ran off with the money bags!
Saturday afternoon, we grabbed some dinner at the Kingman Steakhouse and then Joe had to go into the hospital to do a case. I took the kids to the bowling alley and they let us bowl as many games as we wanted for three hours for only $15 total. Lucky night!
When we were done bowling, we headed back to the hotel and watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules before going to bed.

I agree with Carlee. That baby burro does look dead!
