Jim and Steph came down over the weekend to just hang out. Friday morning Carlee called Madi and Steph about 100 times wanting to know when they were going to be to our house. Carlee even wanted to know what Madi's hair was like so that I could do it the same way! These cute cousins are a year apart but are two peas in a pod. They are the best of friends and love just being together. Steph told Carlee that they would be to our house at 2:55 and they arrived at 2:57 p.m. Not too bad!
The kids enjoyed dressing up, playing Barbies and Bey blades, shooting hoops, swimming in the hot tub, and eating lots of snacks. We bought a soda machine and it was delivered on Friday so we stocked it with their favorite sodas and water and all the kids thought it was so cool to stand in line and get a drink!
Steph has been wanting to go ice skating since Christmas and since Las Vegas is the perfect place for that (ironic, isn't it?), we took them to our favorite indoor skating rink. Lately, this is one of our favorite family activities to do whenever we have some free time and need something fun. The skates are comfortable, the kids improve every time we go in their skills and confidence, and there are "walkers" for Carlee to use. It's the perfect family activity for all of us. We all had a great time and it might be a Quarnberg family favorite Las Vegas activity too!

| Jake was showing off his spin jumps and didn't quite land it. |
| Too bad they weren't playing "Glory of Love" like they did when I roller skated in 6th grade. I had a different guy holding my hand back then ;) |
| Two awfully cute cousins |
| Madi just adores Jake and he is so sweet and helpful to her. |
| Steph was so busy with Tyler and Madi that she didn't even realize Clark and I had joined the train. Choo Choo, Steph! |
| Jim and Steph raced around with their kids on the "walkers". So dangerous and illegal! |
