Field Day

The kids had their Field Day the Friday before Spring Break started and it was a gorgeous day for all of their games.  Marci, Justin and their three boys came down for the weekend so we grabbed some sandwiches for a picnic lunch and headed to the school to watch the activities.

We only got to see the tail end of Kinder-2nd grades right before lunch started.  We saw Jake get wet in a passing jugs of water game and then the Frisbee Throw.
Carlee enjoyed posing and taking her own pictures of us during lunchtime.
Eli was hamming it up for the camera--dancing, making silly faces, and just being adorable
Isaac and Carlee
Carlee is so in love with babies.  She was loving Isaac all weekend.

After eating lunch, the kids had a dance mosh pit and conga line on the playground to lots of fun music to gear up for the afternoon activities for the 3rd-5th grades.

In this game, they had to spin around several times with their forehead on the bat, then run to the other side and fill up the plunger with water and run back to their line.

That afternoon, we heated the hot tub for the kids to play in when they got home from school and then they got in their pj's and made chalk drawings on the sport court.  Clark watched all the kids while Justin, Marci, Joe and I tried a new sushi place with Drew and Melissa.  It was delicious and we followed dinner with Marble Slab's new banana ice cream, Joe's third new love.
