Pinewood Derby

It was another annual Pinewood Derby for the Cub Scouts and this year Jake was determined to place in the top three.  He drew out his design, carved and cut it out of wood and sanded it smooth.  With Joe's help, he worked on it for several days leading up to the derby.  I wasn't able to go due to hosting Relief Society meeting at my house but Joe took all the kids to cheer on Jake.

All the cars are lined up and ready to compete! 

Even Clark brought back his car (Red with gray stripes on the bottom row) to race in the non-competitive round.  But he didn't fare so well. :(

Cubmaster, Dave Honeycutt, is ready to let them fly (with a little assistance from McKay Butler).
