Happy New Year!

The day started off with snow AGAIN.  We ran some errands and then came home to get things prepared for the New Year's Eve party at Jenn and Kyle's.  The kids got back into their snow gear and started making forts in the backyard.
We headed to Jenn's for a fondue dinner and party to ring in the New Year.  We made hourly activity bags again and the kids loved it.  It was so much fun!
Jenn put together some fun little party bags for the kids to open at midnight.
Poor Brody wasn't feeling well but he hung in there through dinner and then they left.
We made our own noisemakers with paper plates, cord, and wooden beads.
I found out that my bro-in-law, Jay, has some mad crafting skills
Jax is sporting a great New Year's hat
Katelyn's Christmas gift from Geoff and Alanna--American Girl craft, nail polish, and lip gloss.
These three hid out in the playroom and colored for at least an hour.

 Next, we played BINGO
These people all played on their phones while I did activities with the children and Jenn and Kyle cleaned up the kitchen!  Some people . . .
Jay deserves a break cuz he was crafting and assisting me with the kids' games.

Then we played board and video games:
And then it was time to watch the ball drop and ring in the New Year!
Happy 2013!!  Cheers to another great year!

On New Year's Day we drove home.  We had a wonderful time in Utah enjoying snow and family but we are excited to get home to see Daddy and play this week before starting school on Monday.
One more of Grandpa's delicious and famous breakfasts for the road.
Katelyn is trying to learn to cook the "perfect" egg.
On the road again and fully loaded . . .
