Belle and Gaston

Clark and Katelyn both performed in the Beauty and the Beast, Jr. play for Hollywood Kids Academy. Katelyn was honored to play the part of Belle and Clark was Gaston. They both did an amazing job. Katelyn was a little nervous before the play began but had no fear as soon as the music started and she walked out from her "cottage". She belted out her songs, said her many lines, and acted out the scenes. Clark really hammed it up as he strutted around the stage being the handsomest man that deserves the best in that "poor, provincial town". Our kids really have a talent for this and they love acting. We are proud parents and love watching them perform. Great job, kiddos!

Singing about her favorite book in the "poor, provincial town"

Singing about himself, of course

Wishing she were "Home" instead of locked up in the enchanted castle

Showing off his guns in the bar while the villagers sing "Gaston"

Loving all the attention

"Be Our Guest"

Belle reading to the Beast

Joining the Beast for dinner

Waltzing to "Beauty and the Beast" (that's a lift ;))

Gaston stabbing the Beast in the back

Belle proclaiming her love to the Beast as he is dying

Human again and living Happily Ever After

Beauty (Katelyn) and the Beast (Spencer)

The kids and Miss Sara

Tyler, Madi, and Aunt Stephanie drove down to watch the show

Carlee danced in the pre-show with some members of the Fairytale Theater class. The costumes were left at the designer's home so their costumes were a little mismatched but she loved doing a ballet performance to "Beauty and the Beast". She is also quite the show-off as she twirls around and smiles for the audience.

Smiling for her family

Tendu

Ballet Turns

Arabesque (or leaning like an airplane)

Skipping across the stage

Final curtsy
