For our Saturday date night, Joe and I grabbed a bite to eat and then went pumpkin shopping, looking for the perfect pumpkins to get our kids for carving. Staheli Farms didn't have a good selection while we were up there and we hadn't had a chance for our family to go pumpkin shopping together in the days before Halloween. So we decided to go after dinner. We went to Costco, Winco, Target (for some other good stuff) and Walmart but left with nothing. The last place we would try was Smith's. My 9-year-old good friend, Carter Johnson, secretly told me at Staheli Farms the day before that Smith's had some really great pumpkins a few days earlier so we took his advice and headed over there just before 10:00. As luck would have it, some men were unloading a big wagon full of perfectly shaped and sized pumpkins. There were so many good ones that we couldn't choose! We kept pulling them out, lining them up, looking them over, putting them back, and getting new ones. We finally picked the perfect ones in the sizes that our children had requested and made the purchase. Thanks, Carter, for giving us your tip!

Jacob's, Clark's, Carlee's, Mine, Katelyn's (that Joe was very excited about but graciously gave up)
Sunday, after church, home-teaching, dinner, and ward choir, we got to work!
